Treatment questions

Common questions clients ask before booking. Final suitability is always checked during consultation.

All treatments

Does it hurt?

Most treatments are comfortable. You may feel slight tingling, warmth or mild pressure. For injectable treatments, very fine needles are used and numbing cream can be applied first if needed.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your body and your goal. Small areas or simple treatments are usually around 3–6 sessions. Larger areas or body contouring may need around 6–8 sessions. Sessions are usually spaced 1–2 weeks apart and progress is assessed at each visit.

How long until I see results?

Some clients notice a small difference straight away, but fuller results usually begin to show after 2–3 sessions. Best results are often seen 4–6 weeks after the final session because the body needs time to respond naturally.

How long will the results last?

With a healthy lifestyle, including good diet, water intake and movement, results can last several months or longer. Maintenance sessions every 3–6 months can help support longer-term results.

Is it safe?

Suitability is checked first through your medical history and consultation form. The clinic follows safety rules and will let you know clearly if a treatment is not suitable for you.

What happens if I gain weight after treatment?

If you gain weight, the body can store fat again in remaining fat cells. Staying active and eating well is the best way to help maintain your shape.

Can I do it if I’m on medication or have high blood pressure?

It depends on the medication or condition. The clinic will check your consultation form and medical history before confirming whether treatment is safe for you.

Cavitation

Will urine look or smell different?

No. Waste leaves through normal body processes, so urine should look and smell the same as usual.

Why do I have to drink so much water?

Water supports your lymphatic system and helps your body process waste after treatment. Not drinking enough water can reduce treatment effectiveness.

Can I do it if I have my period?

Yes, but you may feel more sensitive or retain more water, which can make results appear slower. The clinic can advise you before treatment.

Can I treat two areas in one day?

Two areas may be possible, but the same area should not be treated twice in one day. The clinic will confirm what is suitable for your body.

Fat dissolving: Lemon Bottle / Aqualyx

How much swelling should I expect?

Swelling is normal and may make the area look larger for a few days. It can feel tight or firm and commonly settles over 3–7 days.

Will I bruise?

Bruising is uncommon but possible. If it happens, it usually settles within around 5–7 days.

Can I go to work or go out after?

You can usually return to normal daily activities, but the area may feel tender or swollen. For facial treatments, avoid booking close to major events.

What if the area feels lumpy?

Small lumps or firmness can be normal for the first few days. Gentle massage, if advised, can help the area settle.

PRP, PRF and hair treatments

Does it hurt when blood is taken or injected?

Taking blood feels similar to a normal blood test. For scalp injections, numbing cream can be used to keep discomfort low.

When will my hair start growing?

Hair growth is gradual. Many clients first notice reduced shedding, then thicker hair, then new growth over time. New hair may take 2–3 months to show.

Will it work for bald spots?

Hair treatments usually work best for thinning hair or early hair loss. If the area is completely smooth with no active follicles, results may be limited. Dell will assess the scalp and advise honestly.

Teeth whitening

Will my teeth hurt afterwards?

You may experience sensitivity to hot or cold for 12–48 hours. This is usually temporary.

Will it whiten fillings, crowns or veneers?

No. Whitening gel works on natural tooth enamel only. Fillings, crowns and veneers remain the same colour.

How white can they go?

Results vary, but many clients see a change of around 2–8 shades. The clinic can use a shade guide before treatment.

Body contouring and non-surgical lift

Can I lose inches in one session?

Some clients notice a small immediate change from fluid loss and tightening. Larger inch loss usually develops across a course of treatments.

Does it help cellulite?

Body contouring can help improve the appearance of dimpling by supporting circulation, skin tightening and smoother-looking skin.

Can I do this if I have metal pins or a pacemaker?

No. Treatments are not carried out near metal or electronic implants. The clinic will check this during consultation.
